Energy Forum
Hilton Hotel Sydney Australia
This energy Forum at ICEM 08 follows on from a very successful event held at the Materials Research Society (MRS) Spring Meeting in San Francisco during March 2008.
The event will involve industry representatives and researchers from across the world and feature a series of presentations and a panel discussion focussing on the most important materials research challenges that need to be addressed in order to move toward secure, affordable and environmentally sustainable energy to meet the world's accelerating energy needs. The discussions will follow the full energy chain including production, storage, distribution and use. The presentations are designed to present a global view of the energy challenges within each sector and the promising materials research directions for meeting these challenges.
