All HTML compatible special characters are available for use in abstracts.

Non HTML compatible character are not available.

In following is a selection special of character and their codes. You can place these in your abstract by copying and pasting the symbol code into your submission. If you copy only the symbol it will not work.

Note that all of these symbols are available and do work, but not all of these symbols appear correctly in some browsers, for example in Microsoft Internet Explorer some symbols may not appear correctly.
