Australian Materials Research Society (AMRS) is an umbrella organization for a number of societies in Australia with a strong interest in Materials. It is focused on bringing together the entire materials research community in Australia for major interdisciplinary materials conferences and events. As such, it encourages member societies to organize joint meetings and to enhance services for their materials research members. AMRS is one of the Founding Adhering societies of the International Union of Materials Research Societies.
